The boat ramp is constructed with 60 degree V-groove channeling, providing
good traction. The right side tends to collect silt from the river. The
river here is very shallow, and may be suitable primarily for smaller
boats. Gerhart Gardens park also has large lawns, play equipment,
horseshoe pits, and picnic tables. The restrooms are locked during the
winter. Additional parking is across the lawn area at an old boat launch
site.

From I-5 at Exit 36, W on SR 432 .75 mi; cross Cowlitz River bridge, turn
R on Dike Rd; go E about 300 ft. L to Gerhart Gardens Park.
